JD: I'm using "No Man's Land" in another play i'm working on; "Something Playing in my ear and other true Stories."

The band had an interview with NST. Lookout for that in the coming Sunday Times (People section).

Unabashed played for AYA Festival in aid of the flood victims of Johor. Other bands include SonicFlood (US) and Altered Frequency.

JD: My other passion is scriptwriting and directing. Might as well include an Unabashed song in there somewhere. With a full choir to boot!

We recently did an interview with Fanatical Voices, Integricity's monthly newsletter. If you're a client of theirs; expect to see a feature on us in the coming edition. If not, we'll see what we can do about featuring the interview here.

It's funny how interviews like this make you think bout questions you (under normal circumstances) wouldnt.

So I've added a 2 "new" songs on our myspace playlist; the studio version of Whisper and also Pendulum (where you can hear me scream funny) Checkidout if you wanna; do it with a grain of salt.

Listening back at the stuff we've done, I'm sensing a need to move to a different direction, to stay relevant to ourselves and to the people around us, to find our "own sound."

So yes, in our journey as a band; Pendulum was our "first stop." And I've decided to share that experience with you.- JD

Background story: I've never been able to listen to our own songs on myspace. I'm not sure why; the internet has never been kind to me in that way.

Fastforward 900+ plays later for Whisper > I'm checking out the (lack of) activity that's been goin on in our myspace > Whisper loads > and I'm going "oops" - that's not supposed to be there! The version that's been streaming so freely from our music player is a live recording from Infest; an event we did awhile back - NOT the latest studio recording ...

That's why I've JUST added a *slightly* better version of Whisper for those who haven't had the chance to hear it on the radio; and for some weird reason want to.  Give us a second chance to let you get a better idea of what it's supposed to be. ("supposed to be" - because it's not yet a finished work). -JD

We're currently working on a new song, which is yet untitled. We haven't figure out the details yet, but this is what we know; it's gonna be a fast-happy-rocking song AND it's gonna be in BM. Look out for that!

In other news: the band met up yesterday at my place to have a heart-to-heart session bout where we've been, where we're at, and where we're going. It's been quite a ride, but really, we're just warming up. oh yes, we decided to "wake up" from our gigless slumber and start doing shows! -JD
